Support and Fast Approval from the Thai Government
The Thai Government warmly welcomes foreign productions to film in Thailand, offering benefits such as tax incentives, filming visas and film permissions. The Government also provides support for the establishment of filming in both major and secondary cities in Thailand.
Furthermore, the permission to film in Thailand is provided by the Film Board of Thailand to ensure a fast and effective process. This agency consists of a sub-committee that specifically reviews requests for permission for foreign film production.

- 5% for productions with elements identified as supporting the cultural identity or “Soft Power of Thailand”
